IntegriGen's Philosophy

What Makes IntegriGen Different

It is humbling to recognize that not only our individual clients, but also their families, turn to us for advice. When the markets are turbulent and clients may feel unsure, we counter this by increasing our communications accordingly.

We build our business around our clients, not around ourselves. It’s a mindset we believe is dynamic in the industry. We ask questions that force our clients to clearly articulate their specific goals. We find that some of our clients have never actually been asked by their previous advisors to join in this exercise.

Questions you might get from us during our first meeting can include:

  • What does retirement look like to you? Describe what you’re doing, where you are, and who you’re with.
  • What keeps you up at night? What does "financial freedom" mean to you?
  • What's important to you that we haven’t yet discussed?
  • How do you wish to be remembered?

Once clients define their goals, we can educate them on what their investment plan should be. We discuss their cash flow, so they're clear on their responsibilities. With our education and guidance, they're able to make confident, informed decisions regarding their financial future. They don’t need to be reactive, because we are proactive in helping them to work towards their goals.

We provide an objective counterpoint, so our clients can plan their financial futures with clarity.

Fiduciary vs. Non-Fiduciary

It’s important to distinguish between a fiduciary advisor and a non-fiduciary advisor. A fiduciary advisor is held to a high standard. A fiduciary advisor is required to act in the best interest of his or her client. At IntegriGen, we are fiduciary advisors. We care about our clients, and their financial well-being.
